Bad Dog!

It's been a rough few days around here with Daisy. We've noticed that she hasn't been scratching at the door to go outside late in the evening and early in the morning. On Sunday, I found a couple of spots in Sophie's room. I broke out our little carpet cleaner, but it didn't get out the yellow stains. I'm going to have to look for a stronger carpet detergent/spot remover. Then tonight, I found more spots down at the bottom of the stairs right outside of Amber's bedroom door. It looked like she's been going down there for several days.

It's been pretty cold lately - maybe she just doesn't want to brave the elements. We've also got quite a bit of snow - it's high enough that she doesn't have any clearance when she squats her rear down to do her business. Either way, she'd better get it figured out pretty quick!

Talk about bad dogs! We're having a similar problem with Vito. It's been raining pretty steady here for the last few days so we've had to take the dogs out and walk them over to the grass in hopes that they will follow. Rocco doesn't seem to mind but Vito doesn't really like to get his paws wet I guess. Anyway, he's had a couple of accidents in the kids' rooms the last few nights. Unfortunatley this morning when Keithy went to get Kanyon up for school he noticed an "accident" on the floor. He bent over to pick Vito up and take him outside when out of the blue this little "Shit-Tzu" lunged at him and bit his hand! He actually drew blood! Needless to say if this happens again we'll have one less dog the next time we see everyone. Good luck.

Last night I fell asleep on the couch in the family room watching TV. That turned out to be a good thing - about 3:30 I woke up because I heard Daisy pawing around the room. I watched her for a bit, and sure enough, she headed down to the bottom of the stairs again and started peeing down there. That earned he a couple of smacks on the rear and a trip outside when it was 15 degrees.

Now I feel like I'm going to have to wake up in the early morning to put her out in case she can't make it through the night. Want a beagle to replace the ShiTzu?
